I’ve always been aware of tutoring services but never reached out because, I’ll be honest, I was kind of skeptical. Hal Wendling; 19 years at HCC

Hal Wendling, an Associate Professor of Economics, will be retiring at the end of this semester. After 19 years of teaching at Heartland Community College and over 27 years of teaching at different colleges and universities, Wendling has earned a much-deserved retirement. He has held many different jobs over the years such as a motivational speaker, a pension fund manager, a statistician, a labor market analyst, and a stockbroker. Of all the many jobs that he has held, he stated is a recent interview that teaching has been his favorite position.
