Dog owners may not be surprised by the finding of this study published by Cell Press journal Current Biology. The study found that dogs often pick up on social cues that humans give; much like babies do. These social cues can be important in communication between the dog and human. The study indicated that the dogs are more willing to interact with humans who used a higher pitched voice and made eye contact with them than those who didn’t.
