Low on funds and short on food? Heartland’s Student Counseling Services in SCB 2400 offers a food share program encouraging students to take what they need today and share what they can another day. Food items are to be taken only by students at Heartland Community Community College who happen to be in need of food. Donations accepted from all. The recent rise of fake news sites has alarmed many, especially given the perceived impact during the 2016 presidential election and beyond. The Bloomington-Normal Chapter of the Assocation for Women in Communiations (AWC) will tackle the topic of fake news at the March 15 luncheon meeting with a panel of professionals.
